INDAG develops new technology
for the heating of foodstuffs
With the INDAG High Power Heating
System (IPS®), WILD-INDAG has developed a new technology for the
heating of foodstuffs: The new method combines two technologies which
have so far only been applied alternatively: The Omic Heating and the
Radio-Frequency:
IPS® Technology: Fast and gentle heating
With IPS® , products containing
both liquids and chunks, as well as highly viscous products, can be
heated efficiently, quickly and gently – without the quality losses
immanent in conventional heating methods. The short-term heating to
the very core guarantees that the product characteristics such as color
and taste are preserved in an unprecedented quality. In addition, undesired
reaction products of the electrolysis are kept from being transferred
into the product.
IPS® transfers electrical energy in the shape of heat into the product
in an extremely efficient and reliable way. The prototype of an IPS®
plant reaches an output of up to three tons of foodstuff per hour with
peak temperatures of 140°C within 90 seconds.
